She was predeceased by: her father Frederick Hammermeister; and her husband LeRoy Bayer. She is survived by: her children, Michael Bayer (Heidi), Larry Bayer, Lynn Kot (Michael) and Vicki Spencer (Patrick); her grandchildren, Jenna (Matthew), Meghan (Curt), Heather (Chris) and Michael (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Dominic, Benjamin, Addison, Clayton, Adeline, Michael and Maeve. She is also survived by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the music fund at Zion Lutheran of Tinley Park IL.
