He was predeceased by: his wife Joan R. Pfister; his brothers, Richard and Arthur; and his brother-in-law William Kopping. He is survived by: his children, Jim W. Pfister and Joy Hooper (Steve); his grandchildren, Sarah Farns (Mike), Rachel, Michael Pfister, Daniel Bohnstengel, Lucas Pfister (Jeanette), Megan Pfister and Kasey Pfister; his great grandchildren, Michael, Conor and Colton; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Griffin (Gerald).
Lying in State Monday, October 5, 2020 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6850 W. 159th St., Tinley Park, IL from 10:00 a. m. until time of Funeral Service 11:00 a. m. To uphold safety guidelines, all guests are asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing requirements.
