He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Yaxian Zhang (Wendy); his siblings, Wen-Ching Liu (Wendy) and Che Liu (George); his sibling-in-law Yi-Ju Tuan (Linda); his children, Denise Rubio and Richard Liu; his children-in-law, Alfredo Rubio and Rhonda Hudgins; and his grandchildren, Evan Rubio, Ava Rubio, Vivian Rubio and Cristian Liu.
