With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward J. Thorp of Tinley Park, Illinois, who passed away on November 18, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Thorp and Catherine Thorp (Coulson); his former wife Donna Thorp (Sodetz); his son Jeffrey Campbell; and his sisters, Lois Johnston, Dorothy Schouten, Patricia Ward and Sister Grace Thorp.
He is survived by: his wife Clementine Thorp (Bloom); and his children, Ginny Kriz, William Thorp (Nemie), Charles Thorp (Pam), Fredrick Thorp (Teresa), Steven Thorp, Susan Panozzo (Dan), Nancy Pufahl (Larry), Dale Campbell (Melissa) and Lisa Culver (Terry). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
