He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland J. Mathewson and Shirley Ann Hendricks Mathewson; and his sister Patty. He is survived by: his former wife Debra Shepherd; his wife Linda of Timewell; his children, David Mathewson (Jessica) of Fort Myers, Donna Mathewson of Peoria and Chris Mathewson of Sioux City; his siblings, Rick Mathewson of Rushville, Scott Aldrich of Hannibal and Mary Lou Stephens of Owasso; and also Linda Grist. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
