Shelby Liggett Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelby Liggett Jr. of Tilton, Illinois, who passed away on February 8, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Shelby J. and Ettabelle Liggett, Sr. (Kizer); his son Shelby Liggett, III; his siblings, Ivan Liggett and Yvonne Brown; and his son-in-law Wesley Kamplain.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline Liggett of Tilton; his daughters, Sue Marzbannia of Danville, IL, Cheryl Reynolds (Kenneth) of Tilton, IL and Cathy Kamplain of Danville, IL; and his grandchildren, Sadie Huckstadt (Andrew), Sara Marzbannia, Brian Reynolds, Stefani Phillips (Nate) and Samantha Kamplain. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
It is kindly requested that those in attendance of the visitation or services wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Memorials may be made in Shelby's memory to Faith Church of Christ or the Vermilion County Animal Shelter.
