He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Bracewell and Eliza Bracewell (Edwards); his wife Roseann Lindley; and his brother Joe Bracewell. He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia Kay Slade (Richard) of Franklin, NC; his siblings, James Bracewell of Danville, IL and Dorothy Cessna of Danville, IL; his grandsons, Jason Mann (Gretchen) of Sugar Grove, IL and Timothy Mann; and his great grandchildren, Marshall and Scarlett Mann.

Memorials may be made to the Farmers Chapel United Methodist Church or American Legion Post 51 Honor Guard Fund.
