He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Setser and Helen Setser; and his siblings, Robert "Dale" Setser and Shirley Sisney. He is survived by: his wife Betty Mae (Shepherd); his sons, Richard Jr. (Melissa), John and Tony (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Tryce, Chance, Trinlee and Ava; and his brother Earl "Henry" Setser (Lucy).
