Oren Cunningham Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oren Cunningham (Tilton, Illinois), who passed away on April 16, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Cunningham and Wilma Cunningham (Wertsbaugh); his former wife Pearl Nieminski; his wife Doris Carrigan; his brothers, Myron Cunningham of Bismarck, IL and Dave Cunningham of Danville, IL; and his brother-in-law Edwin Nieminski.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Shannon (Paul) of Westville, IL, Vicki Miethe (Steve) of Tilton, IL and Linda Overacker (Ken) of Watseka, IL; his grandchildren, Traci King, Eric Sherer (Kelly), Angie Orr (BJ), Amy Escue (Nathan), Jami Harwood (Jon), AJ Shannon (Amanda), Kristi George (Joe), Kari Jo Mikuce (Kevin), Nick Miethe (Kelsie) and Andrew Miethe (Nikki); his great grandchildren, Jordan (Ally Pierce), Jayden King, Kylie, Evan Sherer, Jakob, Alexis, Aiden, Alivia Orr, Parker, Jackson Escue, Austin, Ashton Shannon, Caden, Cooper George, Kamden Mikuce, Leighton, Waylon Miethe, Grant Oren and Grady Miethe; his great great grandchild Baby King; his brother Robert Cunningham (Roberta) of Covington, IN; his sisters-in-law, Regina Sabalaskey (Nieminski) of Westville, IL, June Cunningham of Danville, IL and Sandy Cunningham (Gary Ward) of Danville, IL; and his pet Silky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, step-daughters and step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
Due to coronavirus restrictions, visitation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate that memorial donations be made to Northwestern Kidney Foundation or the Vermilion County Animal Shelter in care of Sunset-Urbas FH, 414 S. State St, Westville 61883.
