Michael Claypool Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Claypool of Tilton, Illinois, born in Danville, Illinois, who passed away on August 21, 2020 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Claypool and Mary Lucille Claypool (Boyd); his sister Paula; his children, Lee, April, Jacob and Justin; and his friends, John Wheeler and Chuck Hagan.

He is survived by: his wife Lori Lawrence; his children, Michael Claypool (Jenny), Caleb Claypool (Jessica) and Kerri Lawrence (Kevin); his siblings, Gordon Claypool (Tina), Cheryl Palmer (Jim), Jamie Claypool and Kelly Claypool; and his grandchildren, Michael Thomas, Lexia Claypool, Johnathan Leek and Mason Leek. He is also survived by two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service for family only and everyone must wear a mask. Due to covid we are limited to a very small gathering.
