Zimmerman and Faye Edwards Zimmerman; his wife Margo Lee Plake; his children, Joseph Zimmerman (Holly) of North Carolina, Kathy Prunkard of Danville, Kerry Jeske of Danville, Jonny Smock (John) of Georgetown and Jennifer Howard of Veedersburg, Indiana; and his siblings, Earl Zimmerman of Tilton, Illinois and Maryann Kist of Oakwood, Illinois. He was also cherished by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
