It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn L. Simpkins of Tilton, Illinois, born in Catlin, Illinois, who passed away on May 2, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roy Holman and Nellie Pate Holman; her husband Harry Simpkins; her son Dennis Simpkins (Velda) of Tilton, Illinois; her close friends, Stephanie Beker (Sean), Logan Beker, Cathy Huff (late Bruce), George and Judy Wallis; and her daughter Cathy Gasper. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
