He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Lloyd "Monk" and Elizabeth Ann Burnett (Hill); and his siblings, David Eugene Burnett and Arlene Hackworth. He is survived by: his wife Susan K. "Sue" Burnett of Tilden, IL; his children, Roy H. Burnett of Nashville, IL and Merie C. Burnett (Jason Carson) of Pinckneyville, IL; his great-nephew Jesse Woodside of Tilden, IL; and his siblings, Lloyd Roger Burnett of Nashville, TN, Robert James Burnett of Mascoutah, IL, Edward Ray Burnett of Coulterville, IL, H. Leroy Burnett (Irma) of Morton, IL and Alberta Marie Woodside of Coulterville, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
