He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Dean and Bessie Dean (Williams); his wife Rose Marie Dean (Brumley); his son Dennis Dean; and his siblings, Mildred Rogers, LeRoy Dean, Ruby Dean, Cecil Dean and Eldridge Dean.
He is survived by: his close friend Jane Stafford; his granddaughters, Ann Marie Gates (Richard), Jayci Barnett (Caleb) and Lenzi Dean; his great grandchildren, Emily Hames (Morse), Zac Gates (Katelyn), Kaylie Gates, Deegan Smith, Joshua Barnett and Addilyn Swafford; and his sister-in-law Myrtle Dean. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
