Patricia Marie Stonerock Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Marie Stonerock of Thornton, Illinois, who passed away on June 5, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her children, Susan Lakeberg (Wayne) and Dennis Stonerock; and her parents, William Whistler and Ethelinda Whistler. She is survived by: her children, Donald "Stony" Stonerock Jr. (Nancy), Sheila Scott (Glen) and D. J. Stonerock (Pam); and her adoptive sons, Michael Barnhart (Tina) and Jim Candell (Jane). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Manteno Veterans Home (1 Veteran's Dr, Manteno, IL 60950) Mrs. Stonerock was a Crossing Guard in the Village of Thornton for over 42 years and was a member of the Thornton American Legion Auxillary for over 51 years.
