She was predeceased by: her siblings, Jean Lergner (Bill) and Donald Devine (Shirley); and her parents, Harold Devine and Evelyne Devine. She is survived by: her husband Harry N. Nelson; and her children, Candy Mitseff (Brian Cozen), Jill Detmar (John), Dean Doty (Vanessa) and Neal Nelson (Sharon Starzak). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
