We are sad to announce that on November 16, 2020, at the age of 97, Joseph Henry Sweet of Thornton, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Arthur Sweet (Dorothy). He is survived by: his siblings, William Sweet (Barbara) and Mary Maurice Dufficy; and his friends, Margaret Loitz, Scott, Garrett, Colleen Loitz, Jenni, Bill, Thomas Johnson and Caroline Shelton. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to American Legion Post 1070, Thornton Historical Society or the Gary Sinise Foundation in his memory would be appreciated.
