It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie L. Belder of Thornton, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on June 6, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James and Mary Hayden; her grandson Dylan Drapeau; her siblings, Clara Teeling (late George), Marge Bouchard, Marian Dorothy Hayden, Marion Lenti (late Tony) and James Hayden; and her husband Don.

She is survived by: her children, Sandra Botterman (Mark), Donald Belder (late Karen Lawrence) and Sherry Drapeau (Ken); her grandchildren, Jessica Sroka (Ben), Taytum Bultema (Pete), Justin Drapeau (Lyndsie), Mark Botterman (Noi), Christopher Botterman (Audrey), Jent Botterman, Britt Botterman (Mihiri Ukuwela) and Darcey Drapeau; and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Khodi, Elyse, Haley, Caelin, Everett, Oliver, Effie, Evangeline, Gates, Micah, Mark, Bailey and Lila.
