It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Reuben Steele of Thornton, Illinois, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Gregory Steele (Lucy); his parents, Reuben Steele and JoAnne Quick (Keene); and his stepfather Randy Quick. He is survived by: his spouse Gayle Steele; his children, Megan Nicholson (John), Sean Steele and Derek Steele; his grandchildren, Jorie Witcher (Jason), Dakoda Steele, Savanna Steele, Kennedy Nicholson, Wesley Nicholson and Wyatt Nicholson; his siblings, Karen Householder (Rod), Susan Steele, Hillary Steele and Ronald Steele; and his grandfather Don. He is also survived by grandkids, nieces, and nephews.
