He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dennis and Susan Lakeberg (Wayne); and his parents, Donald Sr. and Patricia. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Stonerock; his daughter Casey Jean; and his siblings, Donald Jr. "Stony" (Nancy), Sheila Scott (Glen), Michael Barnhart (Tina) and James Candell (Jane). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Illinois.
