It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Craig McNitt of Thomson, Illinois, born in Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on June 4, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Kathy Finnicum; and his mother Thelma McCune. He is survived by: his father Gerald McNitt (Gwen); his siblings, Brenda Shore (Peter), Debra Helt (Terry), David McNitt and Barbara Loos (Larry Sheakley); his children, Anne Arneson (Jon), Gwen Faley (Chad), Joshua McNitt (Katie), Maggie Lenox (Dominique) and Mollie O'Brien (Lance); and his grandchildren, Kayla, Alec, Owen, Graham, Addison, Evelyn, Carol, Edison and Flynn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
