It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stewart Hungate of Thompsonville, Illinois, born in Benton, Illinois, who passed away on September 26, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul R. Hungate and Gaye Hungate (Daniels); his spouse Delories "June" Talley; his son Paul Dean Hungate; and his sister Pauline Bono.
He is survived by: his sons, David B. Hungate of Thompsonville and Stewart V. Hungate (Melissa) of Benton; his grandchildren, Cassy Shamp (Matthew), Latasha Hungate, Erica Hensley (Ben), Tayler Hungate (Ashlee) and Grante Hungate (Madison McGuire); and his sister Lina Zimmerman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to Health Concerns related to the Coronavirus COVID-19, Graveside services are limited to 50 people at one time; facial coverings are recommended; and social distancing should be observed.
