She was predeceased by: her parents, James F. Taylor and Ella C. Taylor (Tucker); her former husbands, Joseph Fitzgerald and David P. Herring; her husband Donald R. Nichols; her son James T. "Jami" Fitzgerald; her grandson David Herring; her great grandchild Benjamin Cooper-Ho; her siblings, Kathlene Taylor, Larry Taylor and James Taylor; and her nephew Guy Lee Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Tracy A. Fitzgerald of Thompsonville, IL, Vicki A. Hill of Marion, IL and David J. Herring of Thompsonville, IL; her grandchildren, Michael Lindsey, Gregg Fitzgerald, Angela Noffsinger, Tiffany King, Timothy Hill, Donna Cooper-Ho, Jonathan Hill, James Fitzgerald, Brenna Fitzgerald, Tyler Herring and Serena Herring; and her sisters, Doris DeCiechi (Joe) of O'fallon, MO, Joyce Benge of Perryville, MO and Dorothy Booten of Marion, IL. She is also survived by her 24 great-grandchildren.
