She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mitchell Lavelle, Sr. and Alice Victoria Lavelle (Taylor); her husband George Hairston; her brothers, James Mitchell Lavelle, Jr., William Randolph Lavelle and Robert Allen Lavelle; and her granddaughters, Kathy Thurston and Ann Fields.
She is survived by: her daughters, Edith Flannigan of Thompsonville, IL, Yvonne Wohlfeil (Kim) of Benton, IL and Teresa Fedrick (Eddie) of Thompsonville, IL; and her grandchildren, Charity Wohlfeil (Drew Henson), Aaron Carroll (Melinda), James Schwei, Sherrie Heist and Stacey Carroll. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
