It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martin Junior Hamline of Thompsonville, Illinois, born in Buckner, Illinois, who passed away on March 24, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Otto Hamline and Cora Olive Hamline (Beadle); his wife Jeanette June Moore; his friend Cotton Hargis of Buckner; and his granddaughter Amy Parkhill.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Arview (Elva "Toot") of Thompsonville, Gayla Morgan of Thompsonville, Tammy Parkhill (Raymond) of Thompsonville, Raenita Gunter (Jack) of Thompsonville and Charles Hamline (Stacy) of West Frankfort; and his friends, Russell "Shaggy" Browning of West Frankfort and Barbara Evans of Benton. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois; and will be accepted at the Leffler Funeral Home of Benton.
