He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gary McCullough (Mack) and Opal Miner; his daughter Connie Lee Kerley; and his siblings, John, Bill, Olen, Gary, Alma, Juanita and Virginia.

He is survived by: his wife Lucy Eloise McCullough (Serles); his daughter Cathy (Donnie Wall); his son-in-law Bill Joe Kerley (Junior); his grandchildren, Danielle Baker (Jeff), Mechelle Rawlings (Aaron), Aaron Kerley (Mackenzie), Dena Peavyhouse (Andy) and Ethan Kerley (Ally); his great grandchildren, Boyd, Ethan, Landen, Tucker, Kenady, Zoey, Lily, Isabella, Noah, Ben and Jemma; his great great grandchild Bennett; and his sister Myette McClerren (Ella Jean). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
