He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman "Red" Summers and Fonda Irene Summers (Brown); his siblings, Myola Hatfield, Mary Miller and Huston Virgil "Pete" Summers; and his nieces, Donna Corey (Miller) and Sharon Summers.
He is survived by: his former wife Kathleen Anne Colliton; his wife Kathy Summers of Thompsonville; his sons, Rev. Leslie James Summers, Jr. (Jackie) of Bardstown, KY, Rev. Greg Summers (Christi) of Atlanta, GA, Steve Summers of Sherwood and Dan Summers of Thompsonville; his grandchildren, Clayton Summers (Alix) of Flanagan, IL, Kathryn Summers of Bardstown, KY and Gregory Keith Summers, Jr. of Charlotte; and his great grandchildren, Kyleigh Hanna, Jaydin Summers, Summer Drew, Jax Drew and Jet Drew.
Memorial contributions may be made at the First Christian Church Fellowship Center; and will be accepted at the funeral home.
