He was predeceased by: his parents, John Darnell and Anna Mae Darnell (Lampley); and his stepfather Leslie Williams. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Darnell (Stilley); his children, Scott Darnell (Kelly) of Thompsonville, Eric Drake (Leslie) of Kennedale and Sara Droke (Geoff) of Benton, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Lance Darnell (Emily), Ryan Darnell (Brianna), Rylie Drake, Addison Miller, Presley Gallimore, Cammy Williams (Hunter), Austin Droke and Taylor Droke; his great grandchildren, Eva, Hattie Darnell, Greyson Pace and Susan Johnson (Robert) of Thompsonvillle; his niece Lynissa Davis (Rob); and his nephew Kevin Johnson (Nickie).
Memorial contributions can be made to The Cave-Eastern Fire Protection District and will be accepted at the funeral home.
