He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mateycak and Lillian Mateycak; his wife Judith Kay Gunnels; and his sons-in-law, Jeramie Southwood and Dave Hipp.
He is survived by: his children, Bethany Mateycak of Memphis, TN, Kenneth "Butch" Mateycak, Jr. (Ruth) of Benton, IL, Keith Mateycak (Amber) of West Frankfort, IL, Kurtis Mateycak (Julie) of La Vergne, TN, Peggy Hipp of La Vergne, TN and Dawn Southwood of Illinois; his sister Josette Siemeck; and his sister-in-law Ruth Feigl of Granite City, IL. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Benton Area Volunteers and will be accepted at the funeral home.
