Herbert Bybee Jr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2022, at the age of 84, Herbert Bybee Jr. of Thompsonville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert "Boss" Bybee and Edith Bybee Sr. (Brookshire); his siblings, Hilda Morris, Judy Hescht, Marlyn Bybee, Lenard and Curtis Bybee; his siblings-in-law, James "Big" Morris, Jesse Flood and Evelyn Bybee; and his niece Kathy Jo Poyner.

He is survived by: his wife Sue Ann Bybee of Thompsonville; his children, Wendi Clendenin (Kenneth) of West Frankfort, Rhonda VanHoorebeke of Thompsonville, Tom Bybee of West Frankfort and Jay Bybee (Christie) of Thompsonville; his grandchildren, Rhett Mullins (Misty) of Thompsonville, Dirk Mullins of West Frankfort, Mitchell Mullins (Tabitha) of West Frankfort, Mikki Fox (Andrew) of Thompsonville, Heidi Bybee (Terry Gunter) of West Frankfort, Sammi Sullivan (Nick) of Thompsonville, Jesse VanHoorebeke of Thompsonville, Halle and Trey Bybee of Thompsonville; his great grandchildren, Gage, Riley, Axel, Braden, Harper, Hannah, Kynzie, Blaine, Brock Mullins, Bella, Brody Fox, Avery, Finnley Gunter, Kenadee Heise, Kash Griffith and Saylor Sullivan; his sister Edie Sitzes (Doug) of Macomb; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Flood of Lone Oak, KY and Earl Hescht of Williamstown, WV.. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
