It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Florence Louise German of Thompsonville, Illinois, who passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Lasley and Pauline Lasley (Moore); her husband Sam German; her son Jessie German, Jr.; and her brother James Lasley.
She is survived by: her children, Russell E. Odum (Nancy) of Marion, Caron Harris (Scottie) of West Frankfort, Catherine Mosley (Gary) of Bryan, TX, Dennis Odum (Ruby) of Benton and Lloyd German (Maureen) of Akin. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pyle Funeral Home (1008 W Broadway Blvd, Johnston City, IL 62951). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Veteran's Honors Flight.
