She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kenneth L. Cowan and Glenda L. Cowan (Stewart) of Cobden; her husband Kenneth Lee Heern of Thompsonville; her children, Kendra Lee Jones (David) of Thompsonville and Ross William Heern (Bethany) of Mulkeytown; her grandchildren, Kenzie Lee Jones, Wyatt Allen Jones, Violet Mae Jones, Penelope Grace Heern and Cade Ira Heern; her siblings, Kimra L. Brand (James) of Herrin and Kenneth W. Cowan of Carbondale; her mother-in-law Verna Mae Heern of Carbondale; her brother-in-law Terry G. Heern (Elaine) of Carbondale; her father-in-law Ira Lee Heern; and her brother-in-law Johnny B. Heern.
