He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Fowler and Maglene Killingsworth (Stout); his son Neal Whitfield; and his brothers, J. W. Fowler, Stanley Fowler, Roger Killingsworth and Odis Fowler.
He is survived by: his wife Angela Marie Fowler (Whitfield); his children, Anthony Whitfield, David A. Fowler and Selena Fowler (Joseph Leonard); his grandsons, Lucas Leonard, Noah Whitfield and Carter Whitfield; his sister Barbara Vandivier; and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Fowler and Connie Fowler.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to help with funeral expenses.
