It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Keith Eldon Shade of Thayer, Illinois, born in Carlinville, Illinois, who passed away on February 17, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Shade and Sadie Shade (DeWitt). He is survived by: his wife Mary Schlieper Stilwell; his children, Barry Shade (April) of Springfield, Gary Shade (Karen) of Virden, Debbie Steelman (Kevin) of Springfield, Kevin Shade (Barbie), Cissy DeVries (Dean) of New Douglas, Allen Stilwell (Dawn) of Gulf Shores, AL, Michelle Richardson (Dennis) of Thayer, Candy Baker (Matt) of Hettick and Keithen Stilwell of Chesterfield; and his siblings, Kenneth Shade of Colorado, Norman Shade (Nancy) of Chesterfield, Ricky (Gail) of Palmyra, Judy Meredith of Springfield, Myra Maxwell (Dennis) of Brookhaven, MS and Paula Stangler (Bob) of Great Falls, MT.. He is also survived by 38 grandkids and several great-grandkids, nieces and nephews.
