It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Mae (Evans) Clarke of Thayer, Illinois, who passed away on May 28, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Evans and Anna Mae Evans (Tomasko); her husband Ralph "Mick" Clarke; her son James "Jim" Evans Clarke; and her brothers, James Evans and Robert Evans.
She is survived by: her daughter Chris Heckman (Mark) of Batesville, IN; and her grandchildren, Clarke Taylor Heckman (Amber) of Indiana, Meredith Jane Stewart (Jefferson) of Indiana, Haley Kemberly of Indiana and Mae Clarke of Indiana. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Thayer United Methodist Church and will be received by Airsman & Calvert Funeral Homes, Virden who is honored to be caring for Dorothy's family.
