He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Bratcher and Myrtle Bratcher (Stevens); his son Harold Timothy Bratcher; his sister Mildred Hunt; and his niece Susie Hunt.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Bratcher (Mills); his children, Vicki Hayes (Randy) of Mount Vernon, Michael Wayne Bratcher (Jana) of Mount Vernon and Rebecca Jo Frisby (Jerry) of Texico; and his grandchildren, Melanie Kyle (Erik) of Toledo, Jeremy Hayes (Natalie) of Smithton, Reverend Travis Hayes (Nicole) of Mount Vernon, Caleb Bratcher of Texico, Randa Trout (Derick) of Mount Vernon, Rachel Haynes (Mike) of Mount Vernon, Dr. Jared Frisby (Brooke) of Saint Louis, Luke Bratcher of Mount Vernon and Alexandra Windings (Christopher) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
