She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Joshua and Nellie May Estell (Sparks); her husband Redus Spangler; and her siblings, Buck Estell, Gene Estell, Charles Estell and Sue Short.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Echols (Russell) of Texico, Janette Cates (Carey) of Mt. Vernon and Nancy Spangler of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; her grandchildren, Rob Echols (Jennifer) of Mt. Vernon, Lori Graham (Travis) of Nason, Ian Cates of St. Louis and Ben Cates of Salem; her great grandchildren, Jady Echols of Mt. Vernon and Rylee Echols of Mt. Vernon; and her siblings, Jack Estell of Alabama, Roger Estell of Georgia, Shirley Hamilton of Texas, Carolyn Green of Iuka and Judy Estell of Illinois.
