It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Waldo Mendenhall of Texico, Illinois, born in Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on November 11, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Mendenhall and Allene Mendenhall (Cagle); his son D. Dwayne Mendenhall; his brother Edgar Mendenhall; and his niece Susan Beth Mendenhall.

He is survived by: his wife Teresa Tate; his stepchildren, Jason Kelly and Stacy Bailey (Nathan); and his sister Linda Hayes. He is also survived by three grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
