He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Hickey and Maxine Hickey (Daniels); his former wife Patricia "Patty" Henry; his wife Patricia Hickey; and his sister Carolyn Hickey.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Hickey (Stephanie), Kris Hickey, Cindy Kovacik (Jeff) and Dustin Hickey; and his grandchildren, Noah Hickey, Jovie Kovacik, River Hickey and Lottie Kovacik.
