It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie Ann Light of Teutopolis, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on January 21, 2022, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Lawrence, Alma Tegeler, Louis and Mary Ann Kremer; and her uncles, Louis (Phyllis Vahling), Calvin Pontious, James Campbell and Lee Ann Campbell-Koeberlein (Frances Koeberlein).
She is survived by: her parents, Robert Campbell and Linda Campbell (Tegeler); her husband Shawn Light; her children, Kyle Light (Caitlin) and Leigha Steuart (Michael); her grandchildren, Maverick, Everleigh, Bowen Light, Mason, Grayson and Harper Steuart; her parents-in-law, Thomas and Denise Light; her siblings, Brian Campbell, Marsha Moody (Scott), Karla Waymoth (Waylon) and Gina Campbell; her sister-in-law Carrie Verdeyen (Luke); and her nieces and nephews, Brian Jr. (Crystal), Katherine, Patricia, Michael Campbell (Dayna), Mariska Mankle, Megan, Maxwell Moody, Clare, Lilly, Sam, Josie Waymoth, Andrew Campbell, Nick, Daisy and Gideon Verdeyen. She is also survived by her sisters, daughter, and nieces, watching her grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be given to Catholic Charities or Cumberland County Veteran's Monument.
