He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Thoele and Bertha Thoele (Westendorf); his wife Helen Stalling; and his siblings, Betty Buenker (Thoele), Patsy Siddens (Thoele), Patrick Thoele and Tom Thoele.
He is survived by: his children, Tim (Deb) of Teutopolis, Doug (Paula) of Teutopolis, Rod (Deb) of Teutopolis, Lisa Heuerman (Jerry) of Teutopolis, Deb Ruholl (Dale) of Teutopolis, Karla Repking (Dan) of Effingham and Brenda Speltz (Paul) of Rollingstone, MN; and his sister Rosemary Brumleve (Thoele) of Teutopolis. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren.
