It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mike Hewing of Teutopolis, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert "Penny" Hewing and Redith Hewing (Dettro); his wife Beth Humphrey; his children, Penny Rardin (Brian) of Effingham, Todd Hewing (Amy Martin) of Hidalgo, Brenda Brown of Effingham, Lynn Deters (Bruce) of Montrose, Michael Hewing (Christine) and Lee Ann Schmidgall (Bryan Schmidgall) of Teutopolis; and his stepchildren, Mystic Bieliecki (Don) of Fairfield and Trevor Hinkle (Gracie) of Geismar, LA.. He was also cherished by 17 grandkids.
Memorial donations may be given to the Teutopolis Civic Club, Teutopolis Trap Team, or St. Francis Cemetery.
