He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Hardiek and Florence Hardiek (Wernsing); his wife Barbara Holkenbrink; his siblings, William and Carol; and his grandsons, Chris and Kavin.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann Joy (Danny), Marcia M. Plummer (Bryan), Martha K. Thomas (Jerry), William B. Hardiek, Melissa L. Cox (Wayne) and Kathy J. Robinson (Mike); his sister Patricia Weis; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Kim, Kerie, Kevin, Kelly, Jennifer, Nicole, Rebecca, Justin, Jon, Elijah, Chloe, Spencer, Lauren and Isabelle; and his great grandchildren, Lianne, Casin, Clarabelle, Rayann, Benji, Victor, Vincent, Olivia, Scarlett, Harper, Tiffany, Ben, Jared and George.
Memorial donations may be given to the St. Francis Catholic Church, St. Agnes School in Springfield, or the Teutopolis American Legion.
