She was predeceased by: her siblings, Bob, Jerry, Louis Swingler Jr., Jeanette Wernsing and Rosemary Lueken; and her parents, Della Swingler and Louis Swingler.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry "Bowie" Wente; her children, Kim Pudlo, Kathy Hakiki (Simo) and Keith Wente (Mauricio Jaimes); her sisters, Ellouise Wallin and Arlene Bushue; and her grandchildren, Austin (Ashton), Evan Pudlo, Nora and Reyad Hakiki.
In lieu of memorials, the family requests the planting of a tree, donations to the Humane Society, or an act of kindness towards others.
