She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Zerrusen and Emma Zerrusen (Swingler); her stepmother Clara Zerrusen (Thoele); her siblings, Loretta Wolski (Ben) and Norbert Zerrusen; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Zerrusen and Vera Zerrusen.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Sweeney (Paul) of Bloomington and Jon Starr (Cheryl) of Mattoon; her grandchildren, Cordell, Ian Sweeney of Bloomington and Scott Schwerman (Christina) of Camp LeJeune, NC; her great grandchildren, Madysyn of Camp LeJeune, NC and Brody Schwerman of Camp LeJeune, NC; and her siblings, Jerry Zerrusen of Teutopolis, Jeanette Westendorf (George) of Teutopolis and Betty Ann Schmidlin of Lafayette, IN..
