With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Ellen Henderson of Teutopolis, Illinois, born in Sparta, Illinois, who passed away on May 15, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewayne Fox and Marjorie Parsons Fox; and her brother Gene Fox. She is survived by: her husband Roger Henderson; her children, Collin Henderson of Nacogdoches, TX, Craig Henderson (Georgia) of Toledo, IL, Shannon Hinkle (Mike) of Teutopolis, IL and Erin Braasch (Bill) of Asheville, NC; her siblings, Rita Beck, Wayne Fox of Jacksonville, FL and Jon Fox of Clovis, CA; and her stepsiblings, Ed Higgerson of Sparta, IL and Karen Lewis of Warrenton, MO. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Her contributions to early childhood education and her unwavering commitment to her faith and community will continue to make a difference in the lives of many.
