He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pals and Gertrude Pals (Probst). He is survived by: his wife Debra of Teutopolis; his son Ben of Toledo; and his siblings, Mike Pals (Judy) of Teutopolis and Luann Field (Sam) of Effingham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
