He was predeceased by: his brother Christian Van Matre; and his grandparents, Jo Ellen Anderson, Dale T. Davis, Dixie and Robert Brown.
He is survived by: his parents, Samuel Davis (Caroline) of Olney and Sheila Brown (Van Matre) of Sandoval, IL; his pet Athena; his siblings, Aja Sander (Chris), Ridge Davis, Chassidy Roberts, Crystal Lutz, Elizabeth Reyes, Brandy Bare and Robert Liston; and his grandmother Linda Van Matre. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials in lieu of flowers can be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
