He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Royer and Helen Royer (Hume); his daughter Patricia Christine; and his siblings, Wilma Butterfield and Richard Royer.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Clauson; his sons, David Royer of Pekin and Terry Royer (Nathan Fredrick) of Peoria; his grandchildren, Matt, Mark, Mike, Marshall, Mitchell Flynn, Wendy and Jeremy Royer; and his brother Larry Royer (Diana) of Centerville, Iowa.. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
