He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Burton and Sarah Stoneking Burton; and his sister Donna Carpinella. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Teel; his daughters, Julie Burton O'Quinn and Virginia; his granddaughters, Brandi O'Quinn and Jessie O; and his brother Ronald Burton.
